Then is (he) who is on a clear proof from his Lord like (he) who, is made attractive to him (the) evil (of) his deeds while they follow their desires.
CAN, THEN, he who takes his stand on a clear evidence from his Sustainer be likened Unto one to whom the evil of his own doings [always] seems goodly, and unto such as would follow but their own lusts
Is he who relieth on a clear proof from his Lord like those for whom the evil that they do is beautified while they follow their own lusts
Is then one who is on a clear (Path) from his Lord, no better than one to whom the evil of his conduct seems pleasing, and such as follow their own lusts
Can those ˹believers˺ who stand on clear proof from their Lord be like those whose evil deeds are made appealing to them and ˹only˺ follow their desires?
Is the one who has clear evidence from his Lord like someone whose evil deeds have been made to look attractive to him? So they follow their [own] whims and desires.
Can then he who takes his stand on clear evidence from his God be likened to those for whom the evil that they do is made to look beautiful, and who follow their own desires
What! is he who has a clear argument from his Lord like him to whom the evil of his work is made fairseeming: and they follow their low desires
Is he who had been on a clear portent from his Lord like him for whom was made to appear pleasing his dire actions and they followed their own desires?
Is someone who holds on to evidence from his Lord like someone else whose evil action seems attractive, while they follow their own whims?
Is the one who is on a clear proof from its Lord be compared to those for whom their evil deeds are beautified for them, while they follow their own lusts (evil desires)?
Is one who stands upon a clear proof from his Lord like one whose evil deeds are made to seem fair unto him and like those who follow their caprices
Is then that, who is on Bayyinah (‘Clear Proof’) coming from his Nourisher-Sustainer — like one for whom the evil of his deed has been made fair-seeming to him, and they followed their vain desires
Can he who follows the clear guidance from his Lord be compared to him who is led by his own desires and whose foul deeds seem fair to him
Is he who stands upon evidence from his Lord, like someone whose evil deed is made to appear good to him? And they follow their own desires
Then is he who is upon a supreme evidence from his Lord like him whose odious deeds have been adorned (i.e., made attractive) for him, and (such as) have closely followed their prejudices
Can the one who follows the authority of his Lord be considered equal to the one whose evil deeds are made to seem attractive to him and who follows his own desires
Then, can one who holds on to a clear proof from his Lord be like those for whom their evil deeds are beautified, and who followed their desires
Is, then, he who lives by an evident Truth from his Lord like the one to whom his disruptive behavior seems pleasing - while such people are but following their own desires
Can (the fate of) one following clear instructions of his Lord be similar to the one who follows his own whims and wishes? Their evil deeds have been made to appear good to them
Then, can he who is on a clear (Path) from his Lord, no better than one to whom the evil of his conduct seems pleasing, and those who follow their own desires
So is he who is on clear evidence from his Lord like him to whom the evil of his work has been made attractive and they follow their [own] desires
Is one who is based on proof from his Lord, as one for whom his evil works have been adorned for him and they followed their desire
Can those who follow clear proof from their Lord be compared to those whose foul deeds are made to seem alluring to them, those who follow their own desires
Is he then who standeth,on an evidence from his Lord like Unto him whose evil of work is made fair-seeming for him and those who follow their lusts
Can one who stands on a clear proof from his Lord, be like one enamoured of his evil deeds and follows his inane desires
Is someone on a clear path from his Lord like those whose bad actions have been made to seem good to them and who follow their own desires?
Is, then, the one who is (standing) upon a clear evidence from his Lord like him whose evil deeds are decked out to be appealing to him, and (those who) follow their lusts and fancies
Is he who stands on a manifest proof from his Lord like someone to whom the evil of his conduct is made to seem decorous, and who follow their desires
What! Is he who has a clear argument (or relies on clear proof) from his Lord like him to whom the evil of his work is made fair-seeming when they follow their own lusts (or low desires)
Is anyone who is on a clear proof from his Master like someone whom badness of his work is beautified for him and follows his desires
Then is one who is clearly on a path from his Lord, no better than one to whom the harmfulness of his conduct seems pleasing, and those who follow their own lusts
Is the one who accepted the Lord’s clear arguments like the one whose evil deeds seem attractive and he follows his desires?
Then, can he, who is on a Clear Guidance from His Lord, be like him whose evil deeds have been embellished to him, and who pursued their lusts
Is he who is based on proof from his Lord, as he for whom his evil works have been adorned for him and they followed their desires?
Is, then, he who stands on clear evidence from his Lord like one to whom one's bad deeds seem good? And people of the latter category follow but their own lusts
Will he then, who is upon a clear proof from his Lord be like him whose evil deeds have been shown fair to him and they followed their caprices'.
Are those enlightened by their Lord the same as those whose evil works are adorned in their eyes, and they follow their own opinions?
Is he who has clear proof from his Lord to be compared to him whose evil deeds are made to seem fair to him, so that they followed their desires
Is then he who has a clear argument from his Lord like him to whom his evil conduct is made fairseeming; and they follow their low desires
Is who was on an evidence from his Lord as/like (who) his deed's evil/harm was decorated/beautified for him, and they followed their self attractions for desires
Are those, who are enlightened by God, equal to those who think that their wrongdoings [as defined by God Himself] are the best possible deed and follow none but their low desires
So will one who is upon on a clear proof from his Lord, ever be like any of those whose evil deeds are made to appear good to them and they follow their own desires
Then, is he who takes his stand upon a clear proof from his Lord like those to whom the evil of their deeds is made to look attractive and who follow their low desires
Is someone who is (firm) on the clear proof from his Lord like those whose evil actions are shown to them as fair and who follow the desires of their (ill-commanding) selves
Can those people who take their stand upon a clear proof from their Lord, be compared to those to whom the evils of their deeds are made to seem attractive and who follow their low desires
Is he who is on a clear proof from his Lord, like those for whom their evil deeds that they do are beautified for them, while they follow their own lusts (evil desires)
What, is he who is upon a clear sign from his Lord like unto such a one unto whom his evil deeds have been decked out fair, and they have followed their caprices
Shall he, therefore, who followeth the plain declaration of his Lord, be as he whose evil works have been dressed up for him by the devil; and who follow their own lusts
Is he who rests upon a manifest sign from his Lord like him, the evil of whose works is made seemly to him, and who follow their lusts
Shall he who followeth the clear teaching of his Lord be as he, the evil of whose doings hath been made to seem good to him, or like those who follow their own lusts
Can he who follows the guidance of his Lord be compared to him who is led by his desires and whose foul deeds seem fair to him
Is one with clarity from his Lord no better than one to whom the evil of his/her conduct is appealing? [Is the one with clarity no better than] those who follow their own desires?
Is someone who holds on to evidence from his Lord like someone else whose evil action seems attractive, while they follow their own whims?
Are those who are upon a clear proof from their Rabb like those to whom bad deeds have been made attractive (made to be perceived pleasurable) and who follow their baseless desires and amusements?
Then, is he, who is on a clear proof from his Fosterer, like him, to whom the evil of his deed is made fair-seeming? And they follow their desires.
Can he who has acknowledged the truth captivating his heart's ears and his mind's eyes compare with him whose deeds of evil and iniquity allured his mind's eyes and induced him to hug his irreverent conviction to his heart? Or can he compare with such persons who have entertained sensuous notions and in vain have wasted their days
Is then one who is on a clear (Path) from his Lord, no better than one to whom the evil of his conduct seems pleasing, and such as follow their own lusts
Then is (he) who is on a clear proof from his Lord like (he) who, is made attractive to him (the) evil (of) his deeds while they follow their desires
